Police clear bomb threat called in to Lake Delton Walmart
LAKE DELTON, Wis. — The threat at the Walmart in Lake Delton Wednesday night was cleared by police, according to Sauk County officials.
The Lake Delton Police Department said a bomb threat was called in to the Walmart at 130 Commerce Street at 4:36 p.m.
The Walmart was temporarily closed as law enforcement members investigated.
Officers from the Lake Delton Police Department were assisted by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, Dells-Delton Ambulance Service, Lake Delton Fire Department and Walmart associates.
The Walmart was deemed safe and reopened.
Lake Delton detectives are investigating and there is not believed to be any imminent danger to the public, police said.
