Police called to West Bend school during ruckus
Students angry over hall pass policy
WEST BEND, Wis. — Police were called to West Bend East High School where students became unruly over a new hall pass policy.
Officials say one student was arrested for disorderly conduct Thursday.
A statement on the school’s website says classes have resumed after a lockdown.
Superintendent Ted Neitzke says some students became unruly during a planned meeting to discuss the new hall pass procedures.
One student says some of her classmates were flipping tables and tearing things off the walls.
