Police ask for help identifying man using stolen credit card

DEFOREST, Wis. — The DeForest Police Department is looking for help identifying a man who took a purse from a shopper and used it to buy prepaid VISA cards Nov. 19 around 1 p.m.
According to a release, the man entered the Pick & Save grocery store in DeForest and took a leopard print clutch from a shoppers cart. The man left the store and used the shopper’s credit card at the Sun Prairie Walmart.
At the store, he bought $800 worth of prepaid VISA cards using the credit card at the self-checkout.
