Police arrest two teens in connection with shooting Tuesday morning
MADISON, Wis. — Madison police arrested two teens they believe were involved with a shooting on Madison’s east side Tuesday morning.
Police were called to the 5000 block of Milwaukee Street around 7 a.m. Tuesday after a witness reported hearing up to 14 gun shots.
A home and car were hit by several bullets, but there were no reports of injuries, according to police.
Police found a van they believed to be connected to the shooting crashed into the front yard of a home on Todd Drive near Post Road a short time later. No one was inside it.
Detectives and officers searched the area and found two teens at a home nearby. Police said they believe the teens are responsible for the shooting.
Officers arrested 17-year-old Jontrae M. Larsen and 18-year-old Octavious J. Krohn, both of Madison. Larsen is tentatively charged with being party to the crime of first-degree reckless endangering safety and eluding. Krohn is tentatively facing a first-degree reckless endangering safety charge.
