Donations for refugees begin arriving at Fort McCoy — how you can help with just a few clicks

FORT McCOY, Wis. — Officials at Fort McCoy are providing another glimpse inside the base as clothing donations begin to come in for Afghan refugees.

The base’s Facebook page shared multiple photos from inside the facility Tuesday showing refugees looking through donated clothes and picking items out.

The federal government is providing for the immediate needs of the people now at Fort McCoy who fled the Taliban in Afghanistan, but many of those people left with little more than the clothes on their backs.
