MILWAUKEE-Peter Dean Parker, age 61, of West Allis, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 . He was born on Aug. 11, 1950, in Madison, the son of Dean and Arline (Severson) Parker. He was a graduate of LaFollette High School and a Chef’s course at MATC. Peter retired from Beta Systems in 2011. He loved all things Norwegian, music and dancing, motorcycling, and cooking for family and friends.

Peter is survived by his son, Richard Curtis ( Pam); his grandchildren, Brandon, Molly and Dean; brother, Monty (Carolyn); and sisters, Nancy Parker and Morlynn Frankey (Fred); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all dear to him. A Celebration of Peter’s Life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012, with the Rev. Bernt Tweit presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service on Friday. Memorials may be made to Angel’s Grace Hospice, W 359N7430 Brown St.Cty.Hwy. P, Oconomowoc, 53066 or to a charity of one’s choice.
