Perry James Fezatte

In loving memory of Perry James Fezatte.

Perry “Jim” died on October 7, 2021 at the age of 79 after a long battle of Parkinson’s.

Jim was born on July 14, 1942 to Clarence and Beatrice Fezatte in Kenosha, Wisconsin, He was raised in the U.P of Michigan. He went to school in Hermansville and Powers-Spaulding Michigan. HE loved sports, especially basketball. He was an All-State basketball player.

He then joined the Air Force right after graduation (1960 – 1964). He was stationed overseas (Europe).

HE married Sharon (nee Strack). He was a loving father to three sons.

He worked many jobs in Milwaukee. Then started in sales at Wisconsin Lift Truck and retired as Senior VP in Business Development (2006).

He really enjoyed Packer games, golf, baseball and boating on the pontoon boat. He had been involved in the COPS organization after his son Jim died in the line of duty as a police officer.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Sharon, sons Dan (Frances), daughter-in-law Cindy and Jon (Lindsey), grandchildren Austin, Travis, Massimo, Alessio and Alessandra, great grandson Richard Dean, brother Bruce (Sherry), Bill (Brenda), Chuck (Doreen), sister Wendy (Lem), sister-in-laws Jan Fezatte and Mary Ann Strack, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by son James, brother Richard, brother-in-law Don Strack, sister-in-law Patricia (nee Strack) McLeod, brother-in-law Richard McLeod, parents and step father Melvin Fazer.

The family would like to thank Crest View Nursing Home and Dr. Bjelland for all their care.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation at https://www.parkinson.org under donate and then tribute gift. Under the Tribute Gift they will choose in memory of someone – i.e. Jim Fezatte, and then choose the amount. They also have the choice of sending an ecard or a Print card.

A Memorial service will be held at 1 00 P.M. Saturday, October 16, 2021 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mauston, where friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until time of service.
