Pence, Walker to campaign with Kleefisch in Pewaukee ahead of primary

PEWAUKEE, Wis. — Former Vice President Mike Pence is set to campaign for Rebecca Kleefisch Wednesday, one week after endorsing Wisconsin’s former lieutenant governor in her bid for governor.

Pence, Kleefisch and former Gov. Scott Walker are set to take part in a law enforcement roundtable in Pewaukee Wednesday morning. Kleefisch will also make campaign stops in Wausau and Rhinelander.

Former President Donald Trump, who has endorsed Kleefisch’s chief opponent Tim Michels, will hold a rally for Michels in Waukesha on Friday.

The events come less than a week before Wisconsin’s August 9 primary election.
