PD: Drunken driver rolls car, crashes into auto service center
MADISON, Wis. — A Sun Prairie man was injured Saturday morning after being partially ejected from his car in a crash, Madison police said.
The 24-year-old driver was speeding in the 3700 block of East Washington Avenue, according to a release. When he lost control, his car hit a tree, rolled over and slid on its roof until it struck two parked cars and a Midas automotive service center.
The driver was extricated from the car and taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
He faces citations for operating while intoxicated, operating after suspension and unreasonable speed.
