Pauline C Johnson, 78, passed away Thursday evening, February 6, 2014.
After more than a 3 year battle with cancer, Pauline has left us for Heaven.
She was born in Edgerton on November 11, 1935 and graduated from Edgerton High School in 1953. Pauline was raised on a farm, as her folks farmed in the Edgerton area for many years. She was always proud of the fact she was a “farm girl”.
She loved to go to her grandson’s ball games, and in-fact, had just watched Grant play a basketball game in Jefferson. As she was leaving the high school, she slumped to the floor, suffering an apparent heart attack.
Pauline married on September 15, 1956, and is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert W Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Alma (nee Julian) Hantke, brothers Herbert and Franklin Hantke.
She is further survived by loving sons Randall (Tracy Williams) and Thomas Johnson, and of course, her grandchild Grant Robert Johnson.
She had a great sense of humor, had a great many friends, and will be dearly missed by all.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 4–8 p.m. at the Dunlap Memorial Home and after 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the church, until the time of service.
If desired, memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson.
