Patricia K. Mack

Patricia K. Mack, age 80, passed away surrounded by her family on Sat. May 13, 2017 at Maplewood Nursing Home of Sauk Prairie.

She was born Mar. 3, 1937 to the late Louis and Eleanor (Laufenberg) Kalscheur. Pat was a graduate of Middleton High School; class of 1955. She was united in marriage to Clifford M. Mack on Aug. 7, 1956. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1999.

Pat worked as a legal secretary, initially in downtown Madison and later at Marquardt, Carlson, Koeck, and Kirk Attorneys in Prairie du Sac, retiring 15 years ago. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Sauk City. Pat was a member of the Christian Mothers and Catholic Daughters as well as the parish choir. Pat was a devout wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who made countless sacrifices for her family. She relished being a grandmother and was so proud of each of her grandchildren. She enjoyed decades of couples card club, traveling, and most of spending time with her family.

She is survived by her 5 children, Lynee (Merle) Fuchs of Sauk City, Randall (Sharon) Mack of Sauk City, Maureen (Steve) Holum of Mt. Horeb, Deanna (Rob Shively) Moore of Sauk City and Eric (Cindy) Mack of Deforest; 13 grandchildren, Justin (fiancee Stacie) Fuchs, Dylan, Cody and Katie Mack, Matt and Jameson (Meghan), and Michael Holum, Cody Shively, Alexis, Logan, and Mackenzie Moore, Jordan and Natalie Mack; great granddaughter, Lyla Marie Holum; brother, Robert (Patti) Kalscheur; sister, Luella (Gene) Kruska; sister in-law, Armella Kalscheur. She is further survived by numerous relatives from the Mack family, including many nieces and nephews in both the Kalscheur and Mack families.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother in-law, Rosemary (Bob) Statz and their son Mark Statz, and a brother, Reginald Kalscheur.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am on Fri. May 19, 2017 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 115 Madison St., Sauk City. A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thurs. May 18, 2017 at the Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City where the rosary will be prayed at 3:45 pm. Visitation will also be held the morning of the service at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 10:45 am. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
