Parkview High School baseball team loses title game in extra innings
Team loses in finale after going to state for the first time

GRAND CHUTE, Wis. — Players from Parkview High School in Orfordville wanted to win the state Division 3 baseball title in their first trip to the WIAA championships.
But the team lost 4-3 in extra innings against Prescott in a heartbreaker in Grand Chute on Thursday.
Parkview gave Prescott an early 1-0 lead, but made a big comeback in the sixth inning. Elliott Olsen tied the game with a single to center field, scoring Jarrett Warden. Then, Brendan Neal added to the lead with a single to center.
But Prescott came back in the bottom of the sixth, scoring their tying run after the umpire called a balk on Parkview pitcher Trevor Aasen.
They went to extra innings, where Prescott’s Clay Seifert got the game-winning-RBI in the eighth inning.
