Parisi cuts ribbon at new library service facility
TOWN OF BLOOMING GROVE, Wis. — Dane County Executive Joe Parisi cut the ribbon Tuesday for the new Dane County Library Service in Blooming Grove, according to a press release from the executive’s office.
According to the release, the previous library service was housed inside the Dane County Job Center, and the new building will allow for more storage and make deliveries to libraries across the system easier. It also houses the Bookmobile and the Readmobile, two mobile library vehicles that service communities across Dane County.
The agreement between Dane County and the town of Blooming Grove has been on the books since 2016, and the new building will also house vehicles for Dane County Emergency Management.
