Pamela Jo Zander
CROSS PLAINS / SUN PRAIRIE – Pamela Jo Zander, age 75, formerly of Cross Plains, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
She was born on Aug. 19, 1944, in Madison, the daughter of Everett and Eva (Kent) Holmes. She married Leroy Zander on Oct. 28, 1961, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Cross Plains.
Leroy and Pamela owned and operated A to Z Electric in Cross Plains for over 35 years. Pamela, who loved to travel, took many trips around the country with family and friends. She was especially proud of being a lifetime member of Argyle Rod and Gun Club. The family wishes to offer a special thanks to Pam’s sister, Faye, and daughter-in-law, Trish, for all the loving care they have given Pam.
Pamela is survived by her son, Douglas LeRoy (Trish Dimaggio-Zander) Zander; daughters, Kathy Zander and Angela (John) Romaker; brothers, Dennis Holmes and Frederick (Pat) Holmes; sister, Faye (Bob) Kaltenberg; grandchildren, Kyle (Kristen), Curtis, Jessica (Stephanie), Tyler (Ellie), Nicole (Jason), Courtney, Caitlin, Colton, Joshua (Chelsea), Ryan and Jesse; eleven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, Everett and Eva Holmes; husband, Leroy Zander; sisters, Carol Maly and Dorothy Bible; brother, Donald Holmes; and grandson, Mathew Elliott.
A graveside service will be held at ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CATHOLIC CEMETERY in Cross Plains at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
