Paisan’s set to reopen after costly fire

Paisan’s, a downtown restaurant, is planning to reopen Saturday, almost two weeks after closing down due to fire damage, according to Paisan’s Office Manager Nathan Devroy.

The Sept. 6 fire originated in a pizza oven ventilation system and caused $100,000 in damage, according to a release.

Paisan’s will open at 11 a.m. Saturday and plans to resume its normal hours.
