Green Bay Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling (83) catches a touchdown pass against the San Francisco 49ers during the second half of an NFL football game in Santa Clara, Calif., Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021.

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Wide Reciever Marquez Valdes-Scantling is headed to the injured reserve, the Packers announced Saturday.

The move was expected after Valdes-Scantling was ruled out of Sunday’s game due to a hamstring issue.

The team also elevated wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown from the practice squad.

St. Brown will serve as a COVID-19 replacement.

The Packers take on the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday at 3:25 p.m.
