Orfordville Parkview headed to baseball title game after semifinal win
Lavery threw no-hitter
ORFORDVILLE, Wis. — Orfordville Parkview High School boys baseball team is headed to the Division 3 state baseball title game on Thursday after a no-hitter in the semifinals.
Orfordville Parkeview junior pitcher Jameson Lavery threw the no-hitter against St. Mary’s Central. It was his third no-hitter this year.
“(I) actually wasn’t feeling that great this morning and finally, I went swimming and loosened up a bit. It really didn’t hit me that I had the no-hitter until like the fifth inning when I went up to one of the freshman and I was like, ‘They really have no hits,’ and I just plowed through it,” Lavary said.
He had 10 strike outs and retired the final 17 batters that he faced for just the fourth no-hitter in Divison 3 history
The Vikings won 2-0 and will face Prescott in the title game.
