WAUNAKEE – Ora “Lynn” Ausse (nee Theobald), age 72, passed away from cancer on Sunday Feb 2, 2014 at UW Hospital in Madison.

She was born in Madison on June 27, 1941 to Curtis and Rose Theobald where she grew up on the south side of Madison and attended St James Catholic School and Central High School.

She is survived by her daughter Dee (Trevor) Meyers of Waukesha; stepchildren Jeannie Ausse of Sun Prairie, Barry Ausse of Mt. Horeb, Tim (Joyce) Ausse of Madison and Glen Ausse of Barneveld; her brothers Curtis Theobald of Florida, Don (Jan) Theobald of Madison, Darrell (Judy) Theobald of Madison, her sisters Joan (Richard) Behrnd of Glidden and Mary Dee (Ray) McRae of Philomath, OR and her Aunt Mary Reynolds in Chicago IL. She is further survived by her 4 grandchildren Rose, Lauren, Jacob and Luke, many cousins and friends.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Larry of 25 years, her parents, sister Betty Lou McCormick and nephew Kevin Theobald.

Her true joys in life were her family and spoiling her grand kids. She loved fishing, spending time in Northern WI with her family and friends, playing cards, crossword puzzles, trips to the casino, Nascar racing and watching WI Badger basketball and football games. She worked hard her entire life in the food industry where she was recently retired from Coops Food Center in Middleton. She will always be remembered for her youthful sense of humor, and her zest for life and people.

Special thanks to her dear friend and neighbor Linda and our wonderfully supportive family that got us through these tough past few months. Thanks to everyone that called to check and see how she was doing and lifting her spirits. When a mother passes away it is heartbreaking and we miss her so much!

All Faiths Funeral & Cremation are handing the family needs. There are no services scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society
