One woman left hospitalized after crash at intersection in Fox Lake
FOX LAKE, Wis. — Police are investigating a Saturday morning car crash between a Jeep and Semi-truck.
The crash occurred at the Intersection of County Trunk Highway’s A and C. According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department CTH A was closed for about 5 hours after the crash.
According to police, The Jeep approached the intersection on CTH C, towards the stop sign at the intersection with CTH A. The truck traveled north on CTH A towards the intersection.
Officers said the Jeep failed to stop at the stop sign and was struck by the Semi.
The sole occupant of the Jeep, a 77-year-old woman was transported to Beaver Dam Hospital before being flown by helicopter to UW Hospital in Madison.
The 48-year-old truck driver was unharmed.
The crash is still under investigation but the Dodge County Sheriff’s office and the Wisconsin State Patrol at this time. The condition and identity of the Jeep-driver has not been released.
