One dead, two injured in head-on crash

One person is dead and two other people were injured following a head-on crash on County Highway J near Lyndon Station Sunday.

The crash happened just after 4 p.m. Sunday.

According to the Juneau County sheriff’s office, the driver of one car was treated for minor injuries and released.

The driver of the second car had to be extricated from the car and was taken by Medflight to UW Hospital in Madison. The passenger of the second car was extricated and subsequently died at the scene. 

Neither person in the second vehicle were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
