In the 1970’s, he was also known as “Poor Boy” on the CB airwaves where every morning he was a part of the area farmer’s “Coffee Clutch”. Here they exchanged ideas and thoughts before the morning milking. After his wife Carole passed away in 1990, Ole retired from farming and started working at the Viroqua Wal-Mart where he worked until his entry into the Bethany Riverside home in 2012.
