Officials: Sexually explicit images of children found on man’s computers
56-year-old charged with 10 counts possession of child pornography
A Madison man was charged with possession of child pornography after investigators reportedly found sexually explicit images of children on his computer.
William M. Reynolds, 56, was in Dane County Court Friday afternoon on 10 counts of possession of child pornography including videos and digital photos.
According to the criminal complaint filed Friday, the Wisconsin Department of Justice and Division of Criminal Investigation completed a search warrant at Reynolds’ south Madison home Thursday.
More than two dozen hard drives and thumb drives were seized, plus two laptop computers and a flip phone, according to the complaint. A computer forensic analyst allegedly found five digital photos and five videos depicting prepubescent boys and girls in various sex acts on the computer drives.
In court Friday Reynolds was ordered not to have unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 16 and cannot access the Internet as terms of his signature bond.
Reynolds is scheduled for a status conference Dec. 15 at 1:30 p.m.
