The two females in the southbound car, 61-year-old Barbara S. Stutzke, of Sterling, Illinois, and 36-year-old Stacey M. Bontz, of Rock Falls, Illinois, were transported by helicopter to UW Hospital in Madison with life-threatening injuries. Officials did not provide an update on their condition Tuesday.
