MADISON-William F. “Junie” Bultman, age 86, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Feb. 12, 2018.
He was born on Jan. 12, 1932, in Madison, the son of William and Ida (Thuesen) Bultman. He attended Madison East High School. Junie served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Following the war, Junie continued to work at Truax Field as an aircraft mechanic. He was united in marriage to Dolores Haber on Jan. 12, 1952. Junie enjoyed working on small engines, especially snow blowers. He was an accomplished woodworker, specializing in cabinets and entertainment centers. Junie also enjoyed fishing, ice fishing and just simply being with his family.
Junie is survived by his children, Lynne (Richard) Boyes, Kathy (Dennis) Larson, William (Paula) Bultman, III and Rick (Trisha) Bultman; son-in-law, Steve Walsh; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer (Steve), Kimberly (John), Stacey (Ted), Kelly (Nic), Dan, Karlie (Tony), Josh, Ben (Kristie), Zach and Nick; seven great-grandchildren, Jacob, Katelyn, Brookelyn, Brayden, Kellen, Enzo and Jacob Martin; sisters-in-law, Ellen Bultman, Joan Bultman and Jeannine Bultman; his beloved cat, Henry; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dolores; daughter, Laurie Walsh; grandson, Jarad Larson; brothers, Robert, James, Donald, Eldon and Dale; and sister, Dorothy.
Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018. A private burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
