Twila Kay Nielsen

Twila was born on October 6, 1951 in Rochester MN where she attended John Marshall High School. She met and married Dennis (Denny) Nielsen, the love of her life. Twila decided Mauston would be her forever home, where she would raise her 5 children, and spend time with her 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren who all loved her unconditionally.

Twila's greatest attributes in life were putting everyone else first before herself, even until her last day here on earth. The love that she had for her children and grandchildren was never unnoticed and will never be forgotten. Twila's front door was a revolving door when it came to her children and grandchildren. She always made them feel welcomed whether that was for snacks or an ear to listen, she was always there. She made it very clear she was always so proud of all of her children and grandchildren.Twila loved to make people laugh and kept an immaculate home. Twila's dream was to be a homemaker and care for her loved ones. For the past 15 years she continued to care for foster boys after all of her children were grown. She loved caring for people and was a very kind soul.
