Naomi G. Perrin, age 90, of Dodgeville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Sienna Crest in Dodgeville. Naomi was born on February 27, 1932 in Dodgeville, the only child of Peter and Stella (Johnson) Martin. She resided in Edmund and was a great help in her parent’s General Store in Edmund. She attended school in Edmund was Valedictorian of her Dodgeville High School Class. Naomi married David Perrin of rural Linden on June 11, 1951. They raised three children, Cindy, Kathy and Tom and resided in Edmund next door to Grandma Stella.
While raising their family, Naomi worked for Dodgeville Optometry as well as helping with farming and sharecrop harvesting with Dave and the kids. She always found time to take care of everybody, even with her hectic schedule.
Once the kids were grown, she and Dave enjoyed traveling in the colder months and would volunteer, weeks in advance, to work at the EAA Airshow in Oshkosh. They made many friends from all their travels.
In their retirement years, they relocated to Bolivar, TN in 1987 where Naomi worked at H&R Block for many years during the tax season and Dave ran the Bolivar Airport. They also made many friends in Tennessee.
They relocated back to Dodgeville in 2012 to be closer to family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Kathy Meier; her daughter-in-law, Sandi Perrin and a brother-in-law, Merlin Perrin.
Naomi is survived by her husband, David of Dodgeville; two children, Cindy (Richard) Gorder of Mineral Point and Tom Perrin of Edmund; a son-in-law, Greg Meier of Whitehall; a grandson, Jeff (Megan) Perrin of Highland; three great grandchildren, Henry, Harrison and Sadie Perrin; a brother-in-law, Lyle (Janet) Perrin of Waukesha; as well as many friends.
