Jacob Seth "Willie" Williamson

STOUGHTON / MCFARLAND-Jacob Seth "Willie" Williamson, age 20, of Stoughton, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017, tragically in an accident.

He was born on March 7, 1997, in Lexington, Ky., the son of Chris and Amy (Logan) Williamson. Jacob attended Stoughton Schools through his freshmen year before transferring to McFarland High School, where he graduated in 2015. While at McFarland, he was the all-time leading tackler on the McFarland football team as well as, team captain. He enjoyed his sales position at Goben Cars.

Jacob was a mama's boy and an avid Ohio State fan. He will be remembered as a passionate, hard-working, tenacious and loving young man, who was a friend to all.

Jacob is survived by his parents, Chris and Amy; sister, Brooke; maternal grandparents, Ron and Judy Logan; paternal grandfather, Robert Williamson; aunts and uncles, Sandy (Jon) Yobbagy, Steve, Matt (Amanda) and Drew Logan and Gabe Reitter III; as well as, many other family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 1358 Hwy. 51 N at Jackson St., Stoughton, at 11 a.m., on Thursday, May 11, 2017. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. A Graveside Service will be held at LEXINGTON CEMETERY, 833 W. Main St., Lexington, Ky., on Saturday, May 13, 2017, with a visitation at KERR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 3421 Harrodsburg Rd., Lexington, Ky., at a time to be determined.

In lieu of flowers and to recognize his support of our veteran's, a memorial fund will be established in Jacob's name with a veteran's organization.
