Curtis Anthony Bonds

MADISON, Wis. - Curtis Anthony Bonds, age 30, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 14, 2017 due to a tragic accident. He was born at St. Mary's Hospital on February 26, 1987, the son of Robin Smith and Anthony Curtis Bonds. Curtis will be remembered for his beautiful smile and contagious laugh. He was an avid Packer Fan, always cheering and always watching. Curtis was a free spirit and a beautiful person. He had so little and he gave so much! Curtis enjoyed family get togethers, especially BBQ's. He is survived by his mother, Robin; father, Anthony Curtis; brother, Derek (Idalia); sister, Sonia; brothers, Tony Jr., Terry and Bobby; nieces and nephews, Malik, Davian, Sanji, Cashy, and Yessenia; numerous loving aunts and uncles, especially Myra and Marilyn, and Everett. Curtis was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Victor and Laverne Smith; and paternal grandparents, Julius and Mary Bonds. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Cress Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Avenue, Madison. Friends and relatives are invited to a Celebration of Life gathering, immediately following, at the VFW Post 1318, 113 E. Lakeside Street, Madison. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of services Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Curtis Bonds Memorial Fund at any branch of Wells Fargo Bank. A special thank you to the good Samaritans who contacted authorities, to the Fitchburg Police Department and detectives for their diligence, and to the community for their support.
