Calla Mae (Fields) Betthauser, 66, of Necedah passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 at University Hospital in Madison with her loving family by her side.
Calla was born June 7, 1951 in Mauston. She was the youngest daughter of William and Viola Fields.
Calla was united in marriage to James Betthauser on June 23, 1973. They were blessed with three children: Corina Marie, Dana Lynn, and Dustin James.
Calla loved to bake and decorate cakes especially for her children’s birthdays. She loved making Halloween costumes for them and taking them trick-or-treating.She also loved cooking, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends.
Calla is survived by her former husband James E. Betthauser; her children: Corina Betthauser, Dana (Shawn) Dodd, and Dustin (Kelly) Betthauser; her grandchildren: Kyle Dodd, Erin Dodd, Georgia Betthauser, and Cyrus Betthauser, all of Virginia. She is further survived by her brothers: Bernard (Beverly) Fields, Morton (Mary Kay) Fields, Eugene (Joyce) Fields, and William (Sue) Fields.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Viola Fields (Bader); hersisters: Shirley Walsh and Darlene Kronberger.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at St. James Lutheran Church, 1106 S. Main Street in Necedah, with Pastor Roger A. Erdman officiating. Family and friends may call from 9:00-10:15 a.m.at St. James Lutheran Church in Necedah, with services beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in the Town of Lindina next to her parents.
