Madison – Anthony “Tony” R. Majeski, age 72, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.
He was born on April 23, 1945 in Rhinelander, WI, the son of Frank and Adeline Majeski. Tony graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1963. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he played football for the Badgers. He graduated from Wisconsin with a degree in Entomology. He continued his love of football throughout his life with his love of the Badgers and the Packers.
Tony worked as an exterminator for Fueger Pest Control and later Terminix. Tony enjoyed the outdoors where he liked fishing, camping, biking, gardening and boating. He was an avid collector of watches and clocks. Tony was also a great cook. He was especially known for his fudge.
Tony is survived by his wife of 32 years, Roberta “Becky” Majeski; his nephews, Brian Majeski, Pete Majeski and James Majeski; his niece, Sandi Walker; stepchildren, Bob (Tessie) Burgette, David (Jayne) Burgette and Raymond Burgette; grandchildren, Theresa (Steve) Glasl, Crystle Burgette, Darren Burgette, Nick (Cassandra) Burgette and Amanda Koehler; great-grandchild, Johnny; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
