NWS confirms tornado touched down in Verona; 11 confirmed in wake of statewide storms
VERONA, Wis. — The National Weather Service in Milwaukee has confirmed a tornado touched down in Verona early Thursday morning, making it one of at least nine confirmed tornados caused by severe weather that swept across the state.
A total of 4 tornadoes were confirmed in Dane County.
NWS officials said the tornado touched down in Verona at 12:47 a.m.
After surveying multiple damaged areas in southeastern Wisconsin on Thursday, the NWS confirmed at least six tornadoes touched down. Friday afternoon the NWS confirmed a tornado east of Wales.

The National Weather Service also shared the track maps for all of the Dane County tornados on Saturday morning.
