Northbound I-39/90 to close overnight in Dane, Rock counties
TOWN OF ALBION, Wis. — A nearly 12-mile stretch of Interstate 39/90 is set to close overnight Wednesday in Dane and Rock counties, according to a news release from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
All northbound lanes of I-39/90 will be closed close from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Exit 160 (Highway 51) in southeastern Dane County to Exit 171B (Highway 14) in Janesville Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Drivers will be detoured onto Highways 51 and 14 from Edgerton through to Janesville.
The closure comes as WisDOT removes the existing Manogue Road bridge north of Janesville as part of its ongoing I-39/90 expansion project .
WisDOT officials urged drivers who intend to travel on the interstate overnight to plan for delays.
