WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. — America’s largest waterpark is opening for the 2021 season during Memorial Day weekend.

After an abridged 2020 season cut short by coronavirus concerns and multiple employees testing positive for COVID-19, park management said they’re planning to fully reopen the park this year.

“All signs point to a great, bounce-back summer for Noah’s Ark, and we’re so excited to welcome guests back,” says new General Manager Roland Reyes. “America’s Largest Waterpark will be the place to be for good, clean, safe fun!”

Reyes said to celebrate the park’s re-opening, Wisconsin residents can buy a basic season pass for $39.99, which is the same price for a walkup single-day ticket.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the park will still require masking for people who aren’t fully vaccinated, except when in the water. Fully vaccinated people will not be required to wear masks.

Prior to shutting down for the 2020 season, the park’s former manager was fired for referring to the coronavirus as “phantom China virus” in an email to Sauk County officials.

More information about the 2021 season, including admission, schedule and health and safety policies are available online.
