No injuries after shots fired in Fitchburg, police say

FITCHBURG, Wis. No one was injured after shots were fired Wednesday morning in Fitchburg.

According to the Fitchburg Police Department, a police officer heard several gunshots near the 2900 block of Fish Hatchery Road.

The police department also received several calls from others in the area who heard the gunshots.

During an investigation, police found several shell casings, but no damage to property.

Investigators said a silver sedan left the area immediately after the gunfire.
