MADISON, Wis. -- Final preparations are underway for the Wisconsin Film Festival, which returns to Madison in about three weeks.
On Saturday, movie fans got to have an early look at some of the films that will be featured at this year's event.
Visitors at the Middleton Public Library got to view trailers for the upcoming films, and learn about how the festival operates. Saturday's showing was part of a preview series that spans several weeks, during which libraries across Madison and Monona will host viewing parties.
"We want to show movies the way that we believe movies were meant to be seen, on the big screen with people sitting together talking about the films," Kathleen Ricci said. "There's some real palpable excitement when you're waiting for rush tickets or you're waiting in line asking people about what films they've seen."
The festival returns on April 13 and runs through April 20. You can find more information by clicking here.
