Officials ID homicide victim as 43-year-old Janesville woman

JANESVILLE, Wis. - Officials have identified a woman who was found dead inside a home Saturday afternoon as a 43-year-old Janesville woman.

Police said Christine Scaccia-Lubeck was found dead around 4:45 p.m. in the home at 426 S. River St.

According to a release from the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office, Scaccia-Lubeck died as a result of homicidal sharp force injuries.

A 21-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested after evidence was found that linked them to Scaccia-Lubeck’s death, police said.

There will be a news conference at the Janesville Police Department on Monday at 11 a.m.
