New tenants to come to Hilldale Shopping Center

Second location of Crescendo to open this year

MADISON, Wis. - Six new establishments, including a second location of Crescendo Espresso Bar, are coming to the Hilldale Shopping Center in 2018, officials announced Tuesday.

The new establishments are part of the second phase of the center's redevelopment to bring green space, modern layouts and a mix of lifestyle and retail tenants, a release said.

Crescendo Espresso Bar, a local café and music venue, is opening its second location in Hilldale. The spot on Monroe Street opened in 2013, serving high-end coffee, a food menu and baked goods. They  plan to open later this year.

Kendra Scott, a fashion accessories brand, plans to open in a newly created space next to Macy's sometime before Mother's Day. The Hilldale store will be the second Wisconsin location for Kendra Scott.

Another addition is the CycleBar, an indoor cycle studio, opening this March. The studio hosts 50-minute classes where participants can ride indoor bikes to a DJ. CycleBar will open across from AMC Dine-In Madison 6.

Near CycleBar will be BEAM Orthodontist Specialist Boutique, which is Madison's first Invisalign only orthodontic specialist's office.

Solidcore joins CycleBar and Pure Barre at Hilldale as a fitness studio. Solidcore does high-intensity, low-impact workouts, with the Hilldale location being the first in Wisconsin.

L.L. Bean is opening its second Wisconsin store, scheduled to open in the spring. The 15,000-square-foot store will have active and casual apparel, outerwear, footwear and outdoor lifestyle gear.

“With the addition of The Green this past summer and the introduction of the new tenants, Hilldale is
transforming into a total experience rather than just a shopping destination," Nancy Horn, general manager of Hilldale, said. "This wave of new openings, and the various events and activations organized by the center brings even more energy and personality to the property."
