5 masked intruders tie up employees, rob Madison Mexican restaurant at gunpoint

MADISON, Wis. - Officials are looking for multiple masked gunmen who robbed a local Mexican restaurant Wednesday night on the city's west side.

Madison police said five masked men entered Lalo's Mexican Restaurant, 5510 University Ave., at 9:20 p.m. 

According to the report, there were several employees inside at the time of the robbery. They told officers that four of the five intruders were armed with handguns. Two employees were punched during the holdup while robbers bound the victims.

Criminals fled with cash from the till and money from employees' wallets and purses, police said.
