Milwaukee woman sentenced for 2014 fatal stabbing
Kriscilla McHenry stabbed man 38 times in Dodge County motel room
JUNEAU, Wis. - A Milwaukee woman was sentenced Thursday for fatally stabbing a man in a motel room in 2014.
Kriscilla McHenry, 31, was sentenced to 20 years in prison and 20 years of extended supervision. She was also ordered to pay $14,549 in restitution.
McHenry was found guilty of second-degree intentional homicide in July.
McHenry told sheriff's detectives that she stabbed Michael Soeller after he sexually assaulted her. An autopsy determined Michael Soeller was stabbed 38 times last August.
During sentencing, Dodge County's district attorney said McHenry is "highly manipulative, dishonest, lacking of remorse and of generally poor character," according to a release.
