MADISON, Wis. -- With a significant snowfall expected this weekend, local communities are issuing snow emergencies or advisories on street parking to make it easier on crews who will be working to clear the roads.
These are communities who have declared snow emergencies for the coming days:
BELOIT --Â Snow emergency in effect from 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29; vehicles prohibited from parking on city streets, cars need to be moved to driveway or designated public parking lots.
CLINTON -- Snow emergency in effect from noon Saturday, Jan. 28 through 7 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 29; no parking allowed on village streets. Parking available in municipal parking lot on 200 block of Mill St.
COLUMBUSÂ -- Snow emergency in effect from 11 a.m. Saturday. for 48 hours or until snow removal is complete. For more information, click or tap here.
EVANSVILLE -- Snow emergency in effect from noon Saturday, Jan. 28 to noon Sunday, Jan. 29; no parking on city streets, all vehicles must be parked on private property or designated public parking areas.
FORT ATKINSONÂ -- Snow emergency in effect from noon Saturday, Jan. 28 until noon Sunday, Jan. 29; all vehicles must be removed from public streets and alleys. Parking available in municipal lots behind Fort Atkinson Municipal Building.
JANESVILLE -- Winter weather emergency in effect from 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 until 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29; all vehicles must be removed from city streets until snow and ice operations are complete. A list of available public parking locations can be found here.
LODIÂ -- Snow emergency in effect from 9 a.m. Saturday for 48 hours or until snow removal is finished. No on-street parking is allowed in the city. Click or tap here for more.
MARSHALL -- Snow emergency in effect from 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 until 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 29; no street parking allow during this time.
MCFARLANDÂ -- Snow emergency in effect from 6 a.m. Saturday to noon Sunday. Vehicles will not be allowed to park on village streets. Alternate off-street parking will be available in the Municipal Center parking lot.
STOUGHTON -- Snow emergency in effect from 12 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 29 until 8 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1; even/odd alternate side parking in effect between midnight and 8 a.m. for three consecutive nights.
