Woman sexually assaults fiance with screwdriver after Tarot card reading, documents say

BELOIT, Wis. - A Beloit woman was arrested for sexually assaulting her fiance with a screwdriver after she says Tarot cards told her he had sexually assaulted her child, according to court documents.

Precious Bailey, 30, was arrested Tuesday after officers were called to the West Grand Avenue Market in Beloit for reports of a man who had been severely beaten, officials said.

The 63-year-old man had been living with Bailey for 10 years, but she recently started thinking he was molesting her 2-year-old child, according to a criminal complaint. Bailey told officers she originally thought the child’s father was molesting the child, but Tarot cards on her cellphone indicated her fiance was the one molesting the child.

On Monday night, Bailey asked her fiance if he had molested the child, and when he denied it, she started beating him inside a recreational vehicle parked at their residence in the 300 block of West Grand Avenue, officials said. Bailey threatened to kill the man until he confessed, so he eventually confessed to get Bailey to stop beating him, but it got worse, according to the complaint.

Bailey told police she was a medium and had visions of what the 63-year-old had done to her 2-year-old son, according to the complaint.

Bailey admitted to police that she beat her fiance until he blacked out and that she sexually assaulted him with a screwdriver, according to the complaint.

“I tried to do exactly what he did to my child,” Bailey said to officers.

Bailey also burned the man’s pubic hair with a lighter, officials said. The man suffered numerous injuries, including a broken finger and bruised ribs, according to the release.

Bailey used a piece of weather stripping from the RV to whip the man, according to the complaint. Officers said the injuries on the man’s back were too numerous to count.

On Tuesday morning, after the beatings and assault, Bailey made the man go get her cigarettes at the market, and he asked an employee to call 911. The 63-year-old told police he was afraid Bailey was going to kill him.

Police said the 2-year-old was in the RV during the entire beating and sexual assault.

Bailey was arrested on tentative charges of first-degree sexual assault domestic abuse, aggravated battery of an elderly person and false imprisonment domestic abuse. Bailey is scheduled to be back in court Tuesday.
