Snowmobiles, UTVs, ATV loaded into trailer, stolen overnight from dealership, police say

MONROE, Wis. - Five recreational vehicles and a trailer were stolen from a Monroe dealership overnight Monday, police said. 

The Monroe Police Department said police responded at 7 a.m. to a report of a burglary at Monroe Powersports on County Road DR. The burglary took place during the overnight hours. 

According to the report, at about 11 p.m. Monday, three people forced their way into a fenced area at the dealership and loaded two snowmobiles, two UTVs and one ATV into a 24-foot Triton enclosed trailer. 

Police Chief Fred Kelley said the thieves attached the trailer to their pickup, which was described as a dark-colored Ford quad cab with custom wheels. The truck was seen headed west on County Road DR. 

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a truck from a surveillance image.
