Armed home invasion likely targeted, drug-related, police say

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. - An armed home invasion in Sun Prairie Tuesday night was likely targeted and drug-related, police said.

Sun Prairie police responded just before 11:30 p.m. to a report of an armed home invasion at 1125 Chicory Way, according to a release.

Three armed men entered the residence and confronted the people inside, police said. The men fled in a light-colored vehicle. No additional information about the vehicle or the men is available.

According to the release, one person suffered a minor injury during the incident.

Investigators believe the robbery was targeted and drug-related.

Officials are also looking into a potential connection to the May 13 home invasion on Andrews Drive.
