MIDDLETON, Wis. — Three years after a physical therapy clinic was badly damaged by severe flooding, the clinic’s replacement is finally open.

The new UnityPoint Health-Meriter physical therapy clinic, which is located at 2237 Deming Way, opened up earlier this month after relocation and remodeling efforts were delayed by the pandemic.

The old clinic, which was located just down the road from its replacement, sustained major damage during area-wide flooding from summer 2018.

“The flood was a difficult time and caused so much damage, but we are excited to be back in a new location and serving the Middleton community,” said Teresa Amonett, outpatient therapy manager.

After the flooding, patients were treated at the UnityPoint Health-Meriter Madison West Therapy Clinic.

The new clinic on Deming Way offers services including orthopedic physical therapy, sports physical therapy, pelvic health and an anti-gravity treadmill that allows for more comfortable rehabilitation.
