Nancy (Stolen) Duhr
Nancy (Stolen) Duhr, age 76, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017, from breast cancer.
She was born on September 14, 1940, the daughter of Ruth and Vernon Dahnert. Nancy graduated in 1958 from East High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband Rollie Duhr, her parents, brother Richard Dahnert, and the canine love of her life, Sweetie. Nancy leaves behind four children, Michael (Karen) Stolen of Madison, Ann Stolen of Stevens Point, James (Jennifer) Stolen of Brooklyn, and Amy-Jo (Daniel) Cochems of Madison. She is survived by five grandchildren; Bill Hinner (Fiancee Aimee) of Stevens Point, Ryan Hinner (Fiancee Makayla) of Stevens Point, Brittney Hinner of Salt Lake City, Utah, Madison Stolen of Brooklyn, and Christopher Cochems of Madison and a great grandchild Jackson Hinner of Stevens Point. She is also survived by seven stepchildren along with their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Also close to her heart was her sister-in-law Shirley Dahnert of Portage, her children and two very special life-long friends of over 60 years, Kay O’Loughlin and Beth Olson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM at ST. ANDREW CATHOLIC CHURCH, 301 North Main Street, Verona, on Saturday, March 18, 2017 with Father William Vernon presiding. A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 220 Enterprise Drive, Verona, on Friday March 17, 2017. A private burial at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
