Naf Naf to reopen on State Street this summer

After a lengthy closure, Naf Naf Middle Eastern Grill is reopening on State Street this summer.
According to a release, the location is part of a multi-unit franchise deal that is adding seven locations in Milwaukee, Madison and Green Bay with franchisee Danny Madanes and operating partner Dustin Gasper of Mama’s Restaurant Group.
Madison is the first of the new locations slated to open, the release said. They also plan to re-franchise the existing restaurant in Brookfield.
Naf Naf is a build your own pita or bowl restaurant with protein additions like chicken shawarma and falafel, along with a selection of toppings, bases and sauces.
“We’re proud to grow Naf’s presence throughout Wisconsin,” CEO Greg Willman says. “We look forward to Mama’s Restaurant Group breaking ground on several new restaurants in new markets and bringing more fresh Middle Eastern cuisine and warm hospitality to guests in Wisconsin.”
The first Naf Naf location in Madison was at 555 State St. and originally opened in 2015, but closed during the pandemic. On the restaurant’s website for the coming soon location in Madison the address is for the same location. The release says it is set to open in August.
