A Muscoda man faces a felony drunken driving charge after driving erratically in Richland Center Sunday night, sheriff’s officials said.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department got a call around 9:30 p.m. about an intoxicated man in the Richland Hospital parking lot leaving in a blue car.
According to the release, 32-year-old Joshua J. Perkie, of Muscoda, was driving north on Church Street in Richland Center when deputies noticed erratic driving.
Deputies stopped Perkie at the intersection of Fourth and Church streets, and could smell alcohol on him, officials said.
Perkie was arrested on a tentative charge of felony seventh-offense operating while intoxicated after performing field sobriety tests, according to the release. He also faces charges of second-offense operating while revoked and failure to install ignition interlock device.
