Mural aims to normalize conversations about mental health
MT. HOREB, Wis. — A new mural unveiled in Mt. Horeb aims to help normalize conversations about mental health and wellness.
The mural is located on the Sunn Cafe on Second Street.
Art students from Mt. Horeb High School partnered with Dane Arts Mural Arts to work on the project.
Work began in September.
“The students loved it,” Mt. Horeb High School art teacher Dane Showers said. “What a great opportunity for them, right? They get to be a part of this and every time they walk by it here in town they can say, I helped paint that.”
This is the second mental wellness mural the school has painted. The other is inside the high school.
