MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating after they said a victim woke up to being sexually assaulted in their apartment near the UW campus.
Police said that at around 4 a.m. on Sunday, a man removed the window screen of an apartment in the North Park Street and Fahrenbrook Court area and entered through an unlocked window. The victim did not know the man.
The man is described as about six feet tall with a slender build and short hair. An investigation is ongoing.
