MADISON, Wis. — A Madison man was allegedly punched multiple times by two men and robbed Wednesday night.

According to a Madison police incident report, the 19-year-old victim told police he was parked in a lot in the 1300 block of Park Street when a man jumped into his passenger seat and demanded his wallet and cell phone.

Officials said the victim drove into the street but stopped when the robber removed keys from the ignition.

The report said the victim exited the car and was beat by the robber and another man.

The victim told police a passerby saw the scene and the two men drove off in a newer white, four-door Dodge Charger.

Police said two other men were involved in the getaway car, but not directly involved in the battery and robbery.

Officials said the victim kept his wallet and phone but lost his car keys. He did not wish to go to the hospital.
